The RACI Workshop is designed to clarify roles and responsibilities across your organization’s project workflow. The RACI model (Responsible, Accountable, Consulted, Informed) offers a structured method to assign and communicate Employees’ duties, ensuring operational alignment and improving overall execution.
Responsibility Assignment Matrix (RACI) Workshop
Program Management of Security and Systems Projects
Purpose of the Workshop
The Goal of the RACI Workshop is to define and document the specific involvement of internal and external stakeholders in each task of your project lifecycle—from lead generation through project closeout and service. This eliminates confusion, reduces duplication of effort, and improves accountability.
Key Benefits
- Role Clarity: Defines what each role is expected to do.
- Accountability: Ensures each task has a single owner accountable for outcomes.
- Efficiency: Streamlines communication and decision-making processes.
- Consistency: Standardizes the assignment of responsibilities across the company.
- Collaboration: Promotes teamwork and reduces role overlapping or gaps.
The RACI Process
The RACI process starts by defining all the company’s job titles. These should be listed on the top axis of the chart. The list should include ALL the company’s titles (internal stakeholders), including the Client, subcontractor, and External stakeholders.

The Second Step is to list all the tasks needed around a project flow cycle from receiving a sales lead to the service phase.

The Third Step is to correlate roles and activities by adding the assignment type (i.e.: Responsible, Accountable, Consulted, or Informed)

The Fourth Step is to communicate the RACI matrix Task assignments to all employees

The Next organizational Steps are to use the tasks list for each position in the company to define employees’ job descriptions and implement individuals’ business plans.
